May update

Hey-lo
A few announcements.

TORONTO!
Gerry and I are coming to Toronto the first week in June and he is working at one of the local tattoo shops. So if you're interested in being tattoo'd then send him an e-mail, he still has a few spaces open on June 8th.

COOKBOOK STORE
While I'm in Toronto I am going to be doing a book signing at The Cookbook Store Saturday June 3rd at 2pm. New Moon Kitchen will be providing some yummy treats. This will be your ONLY chance to visit with me this trip as I'm in town for a wedding not for business, so I hope to see you there.

If you want to print out flyers and hand them out - you can download the pdf file HERE.

VERY IMPORTANT!
I am bursting at the seams with pride and excitement for my friends Teresa Pavlinek and Ralph Chapman who's sitcom The Jane Show will be premiering on Global June 1st at 9:30pm. Jane (the main character) is a vegetarian. *woot* You can read more about The Jane Show and Teresa HERE

So set your VCR's and please take a moment to send Global a letter after you watch the show. Canadian productions need as much audience support as possible and your writing a quick letter can make all the difference. http://www.canada.com/globaltv

G-O! G-O!
Lastly. My pal Wendy and I are going down to LA in July to see The Go-Go's play at The Greek Theater. Sadly we got REALLY CRAPPY seats. *le sigh* But I've never been to LA before and would love to hear where your fav places to eat and shop are.

That's it for me.
Check my blog for daily musing.
Check the chatboard for daily chit-chats with like minded vegans.

And check ya later.
xoxo

oh man, there are so many great places to eat in la. for sure you have to go to "real food daily" and also "follow your heart" (best vegan breakfasts!!!). there's also a really great place called "vegan glory" but it's a little bit out of the way. vegan glory has THE BEST faux chicken lo mein you will ever eat! get it with the thai ice tea. yay, have fun!!! i'll be in la the 18-23 and can't wait to eat at those places!

I second Real Food Daily!! They have 2 locations, one in Santa Monica and the other in West Hollywood and the food is YUMMY. I go there whenever I go to LA on business.

Yes!! Real Food Daily ROCKS! I just went there for the first time yesterday and had the most delicious Mother's Day Brunch. You can check out the menu on their website- www.realfooddaily.com. Also there is Orean in Pasadena which has really yummy philly"cheese steak" sandwiches! Have fun
