I was talking on the phone to a friend and looking out my window at the ocean when suddenly something was hovering in front of me. WTF?? A humming bird just hung there in front of me for what felt like an eternity. Then it fell away like a rock... BOOM. Gone. Then from out of nowhere there it was again, hovering in front of me... BOOM. Gone. Happened 3 more times and then it went away. Weirdest thing ever.
Gerry says it's my Mum visiting me from the grave.
I told him that was stupid... but then I started to cry. Pffft. Gerry... thanks for making me cry.

About a week after my dad died, my mum and I were walking up her driveway. we had just been to dad's work to figure out his life insurance through work, so we were pooped, and we were both thinking about him. She had flower boxes on all the windows to our left, and half way up the driveway we both looked to the left. There was a hummingbird by the flowers, checking us both out, about 3 feet away from me. We both stop, neither of us said anything. it flew closer to me, to about 2 feet, then flew ahead of us to the flower box nearest her door. We walked toward it, and when we got close again it came closer, hung out for a minute, then flew away.
It was the closest I've ever been to one, and we both decided it was dad, just saying hey.
So I agree with Gerry!
Sorry about the lots of words.. this just happened 6 months ago so I tend to ramble.
