it could be safari. i use a mac with mozilla firefox as my browser and never have issues..you will triumph over the machine!
I have a mac and use Firefox too..I stopped using Safari because it was too quirky/buggy. Firefox is free!

firefox is really the best browser!in general though, i find myspace sucks on any OS or browser.
