Wow. What a weekend. Denver Veg Fest was INSANE! Over 1600+ attendees and only 3 bags of garbage taken to the landfill. So impressive... but more on my trip to Denver later, I have a suitcase to unpack.
So while I'm doing laundry and uploading photos, etc I need you to come up with some ideas for my 40th birthday this year. Since it's such a big milestone birthday ... I need to do something spectacular! Any ideas?

I wish I could help you for your birthday plans, but I'm just no good at this (are you really 40? you look a lot younger). I suspect your birthday will involve something very vegan and totally outrageous.
Oh, I finally found the perfect knitting pattern for a dogie jacket.
Well what I did when I turned 40 here on Vancouver Island was I went to Tofino, rented a house with my family for the weekend & learned to surf with Surf Sister. So very very cool - whatever you do - make it special

go to your favorite vegan bakery (maybe sweet pea in portland) and order one of everything!
well i was thinking that since everyone tends to make "over the hill" jokes around that birthday it might be fun to mock it. Maybe have a vintage zombie theme or something. I have no idea if you plan on having a party, it could be a very good time. So smile and laugh and do the monster mash.
