So I had blood tests and an ultrasound to see what was going on with my bad period.
I heard NOTHING back from my regular doctor - so thank goodness I also had the results sent to my naturopath for a 2nd opinion. She found that I have some tiny cyst action going on as well as my being a little anemic from the heavy bleeding.
Nothing from my regular Doctor. Not a word.
The lesson? We are in charge of our healthy destiny my friends ... 2nd opinions from holistic minded naturopathic practitioners are the way to go.

AMEN!!! It was a naturopath who saved my life when I was in my late teens. Our regular MD kept saying nothing was wrong, and I kept getting sicker eventually becoming totaly homebound for over 2 years. I lost several years of my life that I will never get back.

That bites. I'm sorry that your doctor was bad.
I can't wait to meet you this Friday at Ginger Rubio. Tickets are already sold out! Glad I got mine early!

tru dat!
I hope you are feeling better.
Best of luck, Sarah with your health troubles. I have not found regualr MD's to be much help for a lot of things that have ailed me. BTW, I will be hopefully picking up Vegan a Go Go tomorrow if the bookstore has it in...I'm so excited, I can't wait! Peace babe.
So true Sarah. It can be a tough lesson to learn, but so valuable.
I couldn't agree more Sarah! Janey xx
Welcome to modern health care. Apparently cysts the size of gulf balls aren't anything to worry about either. They have to be the size of melons before the GP does anything like refer you to a specialist.
But I'm ranting. Hope things go better for you. Sending you happy thoughts.
