When I was a teen I had a rat as a pet. His name was Kitty. He was very smart, he would come when I called his name. He was a very gentle animale and changed the way I thought of rats and mice for the rest of my life. He would sit on my shoulder when I was smoking cigarettes and trying my best to look cool at the mall, I wonder if that is where the term mall rat came from?
